Early Snowstorm Wreaks Havoc
Written by Administrator Monday, 05 October 2009 08:37

An early snowstorm brought more damage than usual to residents of Gillette, WY and power outages were reported in the Southwest regions of town. While such a storm, with only a few inches of snow, wouldn't have normally caused issues, it brought very heavy and wet snow. This heavy snow brought down power lines and trees which had not yet shed their leaves for the fall. It's too early to tell how many homeowners were impacted by falling tree limbs.
