WAMThe Wyoming Association of Municipalities (WAM) 2009 Annual Convention will take place June 10th through the 13th in Gillette.  Over 500 state and local government delegates, staff and family members are expected to attend the four day event which provides educational and professional seminars for Wyoming’s local government officials.  In addition to providing training resources, attendees of the convention will be touring Gillette to view its wide range of facilities and will be visiting downtown for art, historic buildings and retailers.

Christine Overton, Investor Relations Manager of the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce and spokesperson for the Chamber Retail Development Committee, expressed, “It is really an honor to welcome the Wyoming Association of Municipalities Convention to Gillette…  We are very committed to promoting all that we have to offer and to be helping our valued retail businesses showcase the diversity of their products and services.”
